Civilization IV: Warlords

User summary:
Civilization IV: Warlords is the first expansion to Civilization IV. It includes new civilizations and leader traits, new units and buildings for every civilization, and a number of additional gameplay elements: in particular, players can now produce Great Generals, which can be attached to a military unit, greatly increasing its combat ability.
Warlords includes a number of new historical scenarios, designed to take advantage of the new military-related features. Except for the scenarios, all of the gameplay improvements and additions were included in the next expansion, Beyond the Sword.
