Here's what you'll find inside Codex - Hex:

A Culture of Play: Conditions in The Between The Gauntlet has this incredible, unmatched play culture, and we wanted to find a way to incorporate that into the pages of Codex. We're going to do a series of articles called "A Culture of Play," which will examine gameplay, and offer play advice, from the perspective of someone who has run or played a game for many hours. Our hope is that these pieces will exist in the practical rather than the theoretical. The first entry in the series is about Conditions in The Between (Conditions being a sort of mechanical "hex" on a player character). If you have an idea for a piece in this series, please let us know!

Cutting Words This is a brand-new Trophy Gold incursion by James Smith, with (wicked) art by Chris Spence. We don't want to say too much about it so as not to spoil it, but let's just say it's a different perspective on dungeon crawling. We think you'll love it.

Inkeeryn's Illness This is a duet game by Dan Brown, with art by Marcus Jimenez. Like many of the standalone games we have published in Codex, it's about exploring a real-life topic through the medium of TTRPGs, in this case chronic illness.
