Description
The city has been shaken by a series of deaths among prominent members of the Wizard Guild. Each one died under the same strange circumstances, their bodies found lying partially dissolved in a puddle of glowing slime.
The only clue is the delivery of a lead-lined barrel that was found empty in each wizard’s tower. Divination spells cast on these barrels allowed the Wizard Guild to track them back to a small workshop in a run-down part of the city.
City officials confirm the place is owned by the wizard Cogpustule, a gnome of ill repute cast out of the Wizard Guild a few months ago for displaying ‘disgusting personal habits’ unbecoming to a member of the Wizard Guild.
