Coincackler Well

The old wishing well stands forlorn among overgrown ruins. Centuries have passed since anyone dropped a gold coin in for good luck.

Local legend still tells of the dweller in the well granting a wish if a price was paid. After uttering the wish, a single gold coin would be dropped in the well. The wish would then be granted.

Now, several down on their luck travelers have gone missing trying to get to the gold coins believed to lie at the bottom of the well. Only spiteful cackling and a strange buzzing sound rise from the well’s depths.
