From publisher blurb:
Cold Iron is a module that takes place in the fantasy world of Drakuva, a creation of Tabletop Totality. The module itself is designed for the beginning lower tier of gameplay, levels 1 through 5 using the world most popular TTRPG system.
Players will start either in the small settlement of Port Kasun or upon recently arriving to an area nearby. Port Kasun is near the southern end of the massive Lake Orrin and is nestled on the Cinder’s River, leading back out to the sea through Steam-Eater Bay, making it an active and popular hub of travelers, traders and more. Port Kasun has a known reputation as an active den of adventurers, explorers, mercenaries, pirates and thieves. These various special interests and their factions fall under the iron rule of The Black Code, a criminal organization that keeps Port Kasun open for business and the nobility paid enough to look the other way. There are many who claim that the nobility, specifically the ruling Princess Djamilla, are just as much a part of The Black Code as the lowliest cut purse in the settlement.
The Party comes into the story as they learn that a local Dwarf named Urrkus has been, as of yet, unable to find any group willing to take on a specific job. Urrkus is what is known as a Broker for The Black Code, handling the arrangement of specific jobs, connecting those who are looking with those that can pay. The job he has is the retrieval of an ancient Helm from the ruin of Calabaz Tower. According to Urrkus, the buyer is willing to pay a hefty price and has deep pockets.
Calabaz Tower was once the seat of power of a religious order with powerful divination magic. The death of their last prophetess, the Haruspex Erderna, would send this once mighty order to ruin at the hands of one of their own. In what was formerly the settlement of Vatysyn, Calabaz Tower hangs in the sky, broken and yet still defying gravity while the land all around it cursed with aftermath of a terrible tragedy.
