Colgate Crusaders is a children's roll and move game published by the company Colgate Palmolive Ltd. in 1983. It was not available for general purchase in stores but rather was obtainable by sending off for it to the company.
The game is a promotional piece designed to advertise the benefits of Colgate toothpaste and encourage good dental hygiene amongst children. It encourages regular brushing and general use of Colgate products and warns against the dangers of too much sugar, fizzy drinks, etc.
The game is set in the fictional Molar System where the players (each playing as one of the game's heroes; Captain Colgate, Blue Minty Kid, Flick Flouride and Mike Molar) are trying to protect the system by keeping it clear of evil villains. They are constantly on patrol battling against the forces of darkness - Sugary Sam, Sweetie Pie, the Gumboot Boys and the Enamel Animal with his servants the Plaque Monsters.
The aim of the game is to be the first to capture 3 Plaque Monsters and return them to your space ship.
