This subclass is intended for use with the bard class as presented in the 5e core rules or in conjunction with the options in Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything.
Bards of the College of Targeteers entertain through dazzling feats of prowess with ranged and thrown weapons. They aim for, and strike, targets that others wouldn’t even consider viable, but as they focus on these edge cases and on showy performative flourishes, they often hit home with less power than their fellow fighter or ranger archers.
Targeteers often make an itinerant living by completing in archery tournaments, or as circus performers, but some abandon their lives as entertainers to act as battlefield messenger heralds for nobles, or use their extreme accuracy to work as outlaws, intimidating others into surrendering their worldly goods.
