You are a border collie trying to herd as many sheep as you can from the pasture into your pen, but your opponents have the same goal. Whenever the pasture (Sheep deck) is empty, the game is over and whoever has the most sheep in their pen is the winner.
On your turn, you will draw a card from the duty deck, and then you will perform two actions. Those actions are A) drawing a card from the duty deck B) playing a card from your hand or C) herding a sheep aka taking the top card from the sheep deck and putting it in your pasture.
Some of the sheep cards are rare sheep such as the Ninja Sheep, the Fat Sheep, the Buff Sheep, or the Goat. Each special sheep has a special ability printed on the card. Most of the sheep in the sheep deck are normal mundane sheep, however.
In the 30 min game some of the cards you will draw (duty cards) will help you herd more sheep or perform more actions, but many of the duty cards are harmful to your opponents, such as sending feral corgis to kidnap their sheep or even worse, infecting an opponent with rabies.
