"Players view a large map of a typical village with its rice paddies, local temple, and other landmarks. Each draws a number of picture cards depicting rice, schools, wells, roads, and hospitals. They take turns trying to 'build' what their village needs most, discovering opportunities for cooperation and dangers of poor planning."
