High Fantasy Autoplayer
Six Adapted Adventures: Den Thieves, Twisted Fae, Defile Sub-God, Break Chalice, Insane Loner and Tower Zaire

Conrad’s Fantasy Next Millennium has no Stats, no equipment lists, no armor, no spell lists. You don’t need them. Each character is defined by a small number of Skills. Every character uses magic, amazing magic. The GM sets requirements of the test, an encounter, in terms of Skills. Do you have those or do you free-style explain how a different Skill might suffice? Do you attempt magic to cover for your character’s Skill limitation. All of play is an exchange of ideas, a progression of the story with dice rolls. Got to have dice.

Here’s why the system is called free-style. The character performs the action, as the player sets the context, builds-on the tale. You now improvise, ad hoc, in the moment. You tell me what happened during your success or failure as revealed by the dice.

The rules will dictate when enemies are slain in battle. When the event is over and done, the incident passes. But you will tell me how each enemy died from player character damage. How you suffered harm. Gruesome for sure. Your style will vary. Your group will self-regulate, even set the maturity rating.

High Fantasy Autoplayer creates a campaign of adventures for a party of heroes. Playable continuously by flipping cards of the Tarot. Stop at any time; pick back up whenever desired with as many players as are available. The mechanics ask the player to save the civilized lands of the nobles from an invasion of monsters created by ten sinister factions. This booklet is a companion to Conrad’s Fantasy Next Millennium.
