Description
Cosmos is a relatively obscure vintage space game of skill from France. The board consists of the cosmos with each corner having the moon, Venus, Mars or Jupiter. Central to the board is a rotating 3D metal half earth (Northern Hemisphere). Attached to the Earth is an arm that has a flying saucer suspended from the end.
The game requires players to stop the rotating earth so the flying saucer is over a planet or moon. The player can then claim title to the planet and earn points. If others land on the conquered world then they pay a fee for right of passage.
The object of the game is to obtain titles for all the celestial bodies and the player with the most money wins
