Description
Count Up is a card game from Japan. Players draw from a deck and play cards from their hand face-up to a central stack, accumulating the total as they go. If a player can exactly hit a target, 11, 22, 33 and so on, the other players take penalty chips.
Instead of a number card, a player can place an action card, which trigger simple effects. Players fight a duel with hand cards, exchange cards, change direction, play two cards, play a wild card 1-3 and so on.
The game ends when a player takes the total over 100, and hand cards force more penalties. The player with the fewest penalty chips at the end is the winner.
The action cards have a simple English keyword and graphics, so the game is playable by anyone who can count.
