Court Guardian - A Fey Courts-Themed Fighter Subclass for 5th Edition D&D
Court Guardians are those who serve the Fey Courts in less of a leadership or courtier position and instead are charged with protection of the subjects of said court. You might be part of Verenestra's private guard, or a pet of one of the Unseelie, granted as a gift. You might have been born in the service of some courtier that has been given special permissions to attend the Courts as a guard.
What is your story, and your relation to the fey?
Whatever your story or reasons for this path, your proximity to the courts has granted you with a number of abilities that have made you more effective at your job. Familiar with the tricksy habits of the fey, you are resistant to such wiles and can even swing the odds of social encounters in your favour with brute force. It's surprisingly hard to lie to someone who knows their weapon so intimately, and even harder not to be cowed by someone who could easily snap you in half.
Court Guardians can replace certain Charismatic effects with sheer Strength, and their weapon strikes are imbued with the chaos of the fey courts.
