You don’t have to go it alone. This is why your characters are likely teaming up to survive in the first place, but it stretches far beyond them. There is safety in numbers, and temptation is ideology. Knightly orders and religions and cults much bigger than the player characters exist in the world, and the most successful of them carry very real power. You can align yourselves with that power through the use of Covenants. A Covenant is a bond that affects your very soul, with impacts that stretch beyond mere membership in a club or signing your name in a book. As such no character may have more than one Covenant at a time.
