Crash Garrett is a graphical text adventure by Patrick Dublanchet set in 1938. Crash Garrett is a freelance pilot. He is hired is to fly Cynthia Sleeze, a famous Hollywood reporter to Dr Thorn's experimental psychiatric clinic for an interview, but things are not what they seem and Crash finds himself involved in a nazi conspiracy. The player must help Crash uncover the nazi plot, rescue Cynthia Sleeze and save his life.
The game uses a text parser for player input. The graphics and the story are heavily inspired by comic books, the pulp genre and the Indiana Jones movies. A nice touch is that the player is not the character, but rather the "little voice" Crash often hears in his head guiding him. Crash can actually find out about the origin of the voice in one of the subplots of the game.
