An edge-matching solitaire card game where you try to save the cats from the Crazy Cat Lady! Comes with 60 Cat Cards, 3 Logo Cards, 5 Crazy Cat Lady Cards, and rulebook.
To play the game, the Player places either 1 (shorter game), 2 (medium game) or 3 (longer game) Logo Cards onto the table. Every third card from the remaining deck of Cat Cards is drawn and placed anywhere around the center Logo Cards by matching the symbol(s) on the edges. Play continues by drawing the third card on every turn until three complete rings of cards have surrounded the center Logo cards.
Throughout game play, Crazy Cat Lady Cards will appear, which counts against the Player. When a Crazy Cat Lady Card is drawn, it is placed into the spread anywhere the Player wants, and they can do this up to 5 times since there are 5 Crazy Cat Lady cards.
A Player wins if they can complete three rings of cards around the center Logo Cards before the 5th Crazy Cat Lady card appears. If the 5th Crazy Cat Lady Card appears before the third ring is completed, they lose.
Advanced game play allows the Player to remove a placed Crazy Cat Lady card from the spread, allowing more time to complete their three rings.
A two-Player game can be achieved by alternating turns.
The "HexD3x" series has many versions of the game, and they all play the same way, with some of the games in the series incorporating fun tokens that "deactivate" symbols to match edges to help the Player complete their three rings.
