Publisher's blurb:
Aladar are a type of flying insect with an incredibly virulent sting. Though harmless enough by themselves, when engaging in large swarms the Aladar can easily bring down prey many thousands of times larger than themselves. The Aladar are an important part of the food chain as they are a source of nourishment for many large fauna who are resistant to toxins. The Diar too are resistant to Aladar venom; something few other bipedal Species can claim. An Aladar can grow up to 1 metre in length. It is certain than where one Aladar may be found there may potentially be hundreds (or thousands) which follow. Aladar swarms prefer cold climates but will migrate if the need arises. The purpose of the swarm is always to protect the queen, and the queen Aladar decides where the swarm shall go.
