Their nests are known to contain metals as well as more traditional materials typical of other avia. They are a valued food supply for many Species including the Diar, Formar, Tenarn, and Parnun. The hunting of Kranar requires a keen eye and a swift foot, as these large birds can be volatile in groups. To catch a Kranar is said to be good luck and there are those who claim that the Kranar may be trained as a mount.
