What Do We Need? You are going to need some supplies for this game. First, you’ll need envelopes, stamps, and some blank playing cards or slips of paper of uniform size. You’ll be writing and drawing on those cards, so grab pens, markers, crayons, whatever you want to use.
That’s pretty much everything. You may want scraps of paper for taking notes later on in the game, but you aren’t required to take notes (I’m not your teacher, and this isn’t a class).
Wait, What is This Game?Oh right, the pitch! This is a tabletop RPG that takes place over three phases. During the first phase, you all will be mailing each other a stack of blank playing cards, writing and drawing on them to set up heist. After that, phase two begins with you shuffling up those cards, and building the perfect heist. You’ll set the stage, decide what the crime is, and introduce the crew. Finally, during the optional phase 3, you’ll try and pull off the job, narrating and
acting out scenes as a table.
In short, this is an RPG that uses mail, drawing, and
collaborative storytelling to do crime.
