The resident wizard of the Tower of Mysteries has become involved with a new partner, and ever since his manner has changed, and not for the better. His apprentice is worried for him and asks the characters to accompany her as she responds to his summons to be part of a secret ritual he is going to perform.
Cruel Magic is a 2-4 hour adventure designed for five 3rd level characters but with adjustments for levels 1-4. It is part 4 of the Infestation of Borwen Valley story arc, but it can also be played as a stand alone adventure.
