The third major expansion for Crusader Kings II will update many aspects of the game. The biggest feature will be unlocking republics for play. Currently, if you become the ruler of a republic the game will end. The Republic Expansion will allow you to play as a Doge, participate in elections to maintain your title, build and improve trading posts and your family palace, among other features. As usual new clothes, skins, models, and events will be included.
