Cuckoo Byebye

Game ID: GID0081297
Collection Status
Description

This game is special because it was born out of the observation of birds and particularly the way the cuckoo bird behaves. Rather than creating a nest and incubating its eggs, it prefers to observ the nests of other birds. As soon as the parents leave the nest, the cuckoo lays an egg instead of another. The birds do not realise that they are incubating an egg that is not their own.

You take turns playing the role of a cuckoo and aiming at another player. This player will present his hand of cards to the blind and the cuckoo will try to target an egg. . The targeted player will have to defend against the cuckoo and prevent it from laying an egg containing a baby cuckoo in its nest.

Throughout the game, players collect baby birds and other cards that the other players place on their nest. No one knows exactly what they have in their nest.
At the end of the game, all the eggs in the nest hatch.
Whoever has the most chicks and the least baby cuckoos in their nest wins the game.
