Cult of Dionysus

Cult of Dionysus is a truth or dare style party game of strategy, skill, and chance, in the form of a classical sculpture called a herm (a 4-sided column with a bust on top). The column is made of 72 6-inch wooden blocks, each featuring a unique ancient Greek name and corresponding prompt infused with history and mythology. Players take turns pulling blocks, doing what they say, taking penalties, and trying not to topple the bust of Dionysus. After each topple, the herm is rebuilt from the rubble and gameplay continues until no blocks remain. The player with the fewest penalties at the end wins. Each game lasts 1-3 hours.
