The Cult of Liowen is a modern day movement founded by Ingela Falsthum. Ingela and a group of disaffected Adherents of Barbatos formed the Cult when a dispute within their Sect led to murder and espionage. In order to preserve her life Ingela became an expert in both of these aspects. In forming the Cult of Liowen, however, Ingela has placed herself in the crosshairs of those who would rather she didn’t wield the influence she does. These threats come from within Unbound society and the herd respectively.
The Cult of Liowen has no specific aim other than the freedom of their Adherents. As such, the Cult are a Sect of Wanderers and are perfectly happy to be so. Despite the clamour for a peaceful existence Ingela and her inner circle have pursued a clandestine campaign of information-gathering against a wealth of high-ranking targets. This both secures the Cult of Liowen, and marks them out as a threat to the current order of things.
