This game uses a shared-creation process that distributes traditional game master functions to all players and implements different rules at different times to simulate a game master without requiring one. Players all have a character who is a cultist for a particular deity, and play involves the cultists navigating a temple complex in search of the altar. Character Attributes are randomly generated then (slightly) modified from a small points pool. Character gain experience points; they are spent to gain skills. Random generation also creates the physical temple environment "on the fly", using a spreadsheet (a separate item) as a source.
Play proceeds in a cooperative or competitive manner, as desired by the players, until the final "room" in the temple, where all play is competitive.
