From Publisher Blurb:
Curic’s Cursed Chapbook presents the gamemaster with a selection of fixed and random encounters that may be placed in almost any campaign. This document details locations and situations that GMs may toss into their games.
In the days of sunlight, before nightmares blackened the skies and the cursed people claimed the world, there was a traveler by the name of Lukas Curic who enjoyed sharing stories with those he met in the towns and villages of the world. Curic roamed the shores of the land, sailed the Endless Sea with pirates, and braved the little-used paths that connected Bergen Chrypt and Galgenbeck.
Curic, a habitual taker of notes and documenter of deeds, kept many journals, writing down the sights, sounds, and experiences he faced on his travels.
Although most of Curic’s journals were destroyed long ago, monks of the Western Kingdom managed to acquire one of the man’s journals and copied the words. Some claim that the resulting work, this tome you now hold, is a fabrication, a lie told by the monks to the larger world. What is true and what is false is for the GM to decide.
