Only those who bear the Cursebrands, marks of corruption and damnation, are immune to the creeping death of the Miasma. They alone have the power to tread the wastelands and ruins of the old world in search of glory, wealth, ancient secrets, and perhaps the one treasure the world needs the most:

Machine and Magic Collide

The world of Cursebrand Chronicles is at the cusp of incredible technological progress. Mankind has discovered the means to power machines with magical energy: Mana. With the use of the strange crystals known as Lenz technology that defies the laws of science has become possible. Machines that almost seem to have a soul of their own. But all of this technology is based on something far more ancient that mankind does not yet fully understand.

The Cursebrands

In the years following the atomic war that devastated the northern nations, cursed clouds of magical fallout began to lay the world to ruin. Yet at the same time children began to appear who were immune to the Miasma. Each bore a strange mark, and some possessed even stranger powers. Theses became known as the Cursebrands.

In Cursebrand Chronicles you take on the role of a branded adventurer that you create. Perhaps a hero, perhaps a villain, perhaps something a little bit of both. Your character will be defined by their Deeds and their Temperament, because even the best and worst of us are more than good or evil.
