You’re vying to become the “Most Dreaded” Captain of the seas. Dread points are earned by spending booty at ports and by returning alive. For each Dread point earned, gain 1 jewel.
Each Captain commands five pirates. When pirates meet up in the seas, they form a crew (place your pirate on top). Any time a pirate sets sail, he takes his crew with him (any piece above in the stack). Sailing into a Whirlpools flips the stack. Gather cards to control the winds and the seas.
Scoring:
1. Earn Dread Points by spending treasure at port on supplies, rum, and entertainment.
2. When crossing the scoring line, the pirate’s stack that is crossing receives 1 Dread Point per piece in his or her stack. Other pirates along for the ride receive 1 point per piece of their own.
The first pirate to earn 10 Dread Points wins, and is the most dreaded Cutthroat Captain.
