D-Day: The Invasion of France

In-Game Introduction

This historical computerized wargame covers the first 24 days of the amphibious invasion of France in June 1944. Each turn represents approximately 2 days. You are the commander of the Allied forces, your opponent being the computer, which has control over the German movement and attacks.

How well you command your forces is represented by the score shown on the screen. Each town on the map is worth 1 point. On 6/6/44 your score starts out at 0. For each town you capture, your score is increased 1 point. There is a total of 57 town positions on the map. The score is updated at the end of each turn.
