D20 SRD 3.5 Edition Level Demographics: A Computer Simulation

ABSTRACT:

This paper presents the results of a computer simulation conducted in 2009. Ten million player characters were sent on weekly adventures over two thousand in-game years. Whenever a player character died, if the party had enough gold, they cast raise dead or resurrection. The final statistics were used to find demographics with item creation requirements and random encounter table rules to show what items from the d20 System Reference Document for Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 edition are common enough to be found in random treasure hoards.
