d30 Alternate Familiar Generator

This d30 generator helps create a familiar for a magic-user/sorcerer/mage for your fantasy role-playing game.

Not every RPG has the equivalent of a Find Familiar spell, so one has also been included. Since this is a d30 Alternate Familiar Generator, this spell and generator can easily be used even if your RPG already uses a different Find Familiar spell.

This table can create one of 25 different familiars (5 specific animals are represented twice to make 30 different table results) and each familiar comes with one bane or one boon to set them apart from other familiars. Depending on the roll, the familiar could have an additional bane or boon.
