This is a radically slimmed-down version of Danger Patrol. It has the same premise as its big brother. Players play agents in the Danger Patrol, defending Rocket City with their ray guns and rocket bikes.
The game's killer feature are its Danger Dice. When a hero attempts a feat, everyone at the table may add danger dice to the roll by describing a specific danger of that feat. Everyone is the GM, and everyone gets to participate in every turn!
This edition subtracts a number of details from its predecessor. There are no danger tracks, power chips, or investigation scenes. The styles and roles are no longer templated and do not have special powers.
This edition does add one feature: the Threat-o-Matic, a tiny oracle that makes scenario and enemy generation a snap.
