Dante's Inferno (1986)

You have to move through all the circles of hell to escape from it, like Dante did in his "Divine Comedy" (but without Virgil to guide you).

The game features simple "adventure" elements (exploration, pick up items to be used later) and standard "arcade" parts (avoid to be hit by enemies).
The player has only one life (and no ways to earn more, no checkpoints, no save/load options) and thus must complete the game in a single faultless session.
