Das wurmt

Das wurmt is the short card game about long worms that get longer until they are short enough.

There are worm ends on the playing field, each with a head card in the same colour. If you turn the head, you ‘discover’ a worm appendix, which makes this worm grow longer. However, the actual ‘growth’ only becomes visible when the next head is played and the previous head is turned over again. As not all worm appendages are the same, some worms can grow faster and others slower, depending on which card is played. Worms that appear at the ‘ideal length’ earn their discoverer bonus points, while worms that are too long can be quite ‘wormy’ and result in hefty point deductions.
