The year is 2060. You are a netrunner - a skilled hacker with a cybernetic interface implanted into your body. You’ve been hired by a nameless information broker to break into Akimi Cyber Tech (ACT) - a Mega Corp that manufactures the most sophisticated Cyberware in the world. The risk is high but so is the reward. Obtain the 5 data blocks the broker is after and get paid.
You begin the game on the first floor of the Akimi Corporation. There are 5 Floors to complete before facing the final boss. The goal of each floor is to obtain one data block and one key card which gives you access to the elevator. Once you have obtained these two items you progress to the next floor. Keycards can be discovered in locations you explore or by killing an enemy that is carrying one. You earn data blocks by hacking into the computer network and bypassing encrpytions at ACT.
Data Fortress is a difficult but rewarding solo adventure that will have you coming back for more.
