The breakout mod of ArmA II comes into its own with DayZ Standalone, plunging players into zombie-infested Chernarus, a 230 sq km fictional post-Soviet state based on an area of the Czech Republic.
Players must find food and water, and maybe a weapon or two, in order to survive. While zombies are a constant menace, and it's possible to find friends in this bleak post-apocalypse, the true terror of Chernarus is your fellow survivor, as players turn to banditry to ensure their own survival, stealing loot from others
