From the Module Description:
In the Far North of the Dales in the Thar Region of the Forgotten Realms, several small villages near the
range commonly called "The Massif" have been found deserted, all the population has mysteriously disappeared. Later, when a Moabite Raiding party attacked your village, The Player Characters uncovered this evil plot and gathered to combat it. Too late to save your family and friends from being rounded up by the Moabites, you shadowed the party to a Mine where you attempted to rescue your villagers and destroy the mine.
Unfortunately, you were discovered and slain before you could accomplish your goals. Suddenly, you have been disturbed from your unquiet rest and given another chance to attempt your rescue. Unfortunately things have not turned out quite as you had hoped…
