Dear Mr. Hadley,

You may only play the Tattered King's Game three times. I have played it twice. It is a game of prophecy and fate. The results are far more precise than those glimpse through the Hallway or by Walking. In some ways, it is safer than the two, for it does not require entry into the Grey. Conversely, and more dangerous still, it invites entities from the Grey to our side. Through the words of the shadow court, through the Fog, you may learn of things that may yet come to pass. It is to be played at the Thinning, between the stroke of midnight and the witching hour.
