Description

Der Fuhrer is a quirky little ziplock-bag game in which players representing six different political parties vie for control of pre-Nazi Germany.

Players select campaign platforms and move from one province to another trying to elect enough Reichstag deputies to win. Components aren't much, but play includes issues such as fiscal austerity, Versailles treaty, law and order. Nazi and Communist party players have street mobs options.

No incentive is provided for cooperation among players, giving the Nazi Party player a slight edge. If no one accumulates enough deputy points after three elections to win, players may assume that President Hindenburg restores the monarchy, or continue playing until winner is declared.

The game is comprised of a 28-page softcover digest, with a map and markers sheet.
