Desperate Rescue

Desperate Rescue is a 2-player abstract peg game similar to Norse tafl games. The players have asymmetrical forces and different goals. One player is attempting to rescue a prisoner from a dungeon, and the prison guards are out to thwart their efforts. The circular board adds a further twist to the game play as the rescuers attempt to open a path of escape for the unfortunate inmate of the castle keep. The guards, however, need to ensure that this doesn't happen. The basic moves include the traditional jump-and-capture variety but with some restrictions.
