Description

From publisher blurb:

The elf pricks his finger, allowing a crimson droplet to stain the charred contract, marking his signature for the deal to share in the grinning devil’s power. A dark knight accompanies the boisterous tiefling through the doors of a gang-ridden tavern, intending to be the only ones to leave ever again. The young gnome sews the arm onto a new doll of her size with silver thread, an infernal flame showing life in its button eye. These Fiend Binders—brilliant experts of demonology—are just a few examples of the vast array of abilities that those who tap into dark power are capable of.

Diabolic Styles Expanded is a complete expansion of the Fiend Binder class, aiming to heavily expand the options available to an already highly-customizable class. Within the four chapters of this 30-page supplement, you will find new Diabolic Styles and Fiend Shards to expand your horizons in character creation, roughly doubling your number of choices when used in conjunction with the original class. The seven new subclasses—the Diabolic Styles—that comprise this expansion’s first chapter draw on new themes and mechanics wholly unique from one another. From mid-ranged fighters to battlefield commanders, these subclasses include:

Contractor. A sinister salesman that makes contracts with other allied creatures to share in their fiendish powers for a dark price.
Epitaph. Dark warriors of death who mark their prey for an inevitable and reap the souls of the dead to increase their power.
Forgemaster. Demon summoners that command dark beasts as tiny familiars or powerful transformed monstrosities.
Gambit. A risk-taking higher roller gamester wielding magic cards as weapons with enhancements relying on the roll of a dice.
Hex Witch. Malefactors with limited spellcasting ability that specialize in accursed incantations defined by dreaded witchcraft.
Jester. Intellectual comedians whose biting words weave malicious curses and possessive merriment in their strange hilarity.
Puppeteer. Malicious marionette masters capable of crafting and commanding a battalion of monstrous puppets on a single string.

The remaining three chapters offer new choices for the Fiend Binder and beyond, from an abundance of Fiend Shards and Crystalized Foci to optional features and special feats, including:

Twenty Fiend Shards spread across all available levels, such as protective crystals, grasping infernal hands, and ultimate defenses.
Fourteen Crystalized Foci: one for each of the seven new styles and seven for all Fiend Binders in the form of special apparel, weapons, and tools.
Three optional features for the Fiend Binder, one fighting style, and five devilish feats to better play your fiendishly-enhanced character your way.
Expanded options for the Amalgam and Belligerent styles, with new transformations and powerful combat techniques.
A variant of the Trickster style, introducing the unique “Trick Actions” mechanic.
