Diamond Eyes is a tale of magic and betrayal not among men, but rather among the gods themselves! If it is true, it undeniably proves that even if the mortals of the very different cultures were unaware of one another – the same could certainly not be said of the gods. Faerûn may have had much more of a hand in shaping the fate of Maztica than previously believed.
