In the deep south of Aventuria already the 'Terror of Ranak' took place. Here - and even further south - the events of this story unfold as well. Effectively a sequel to the tale of Ranak, the heroes sign onto the Korisande, a seaworthy coast ship with a motley crew. After a while, thunderstorms dampen the crews mood; and to make matters worse, the expedition ends - for now - being stranded on a volcanic island. The heroes' fate seems to be sealed."
