Die Schwarze Katze ist ein neues Regelsystem, das geschaffen wurde, um die Besonderheiten, die Fähigkeiten und die Erlebenisse von Katzen mit Bewusstsein in Aventurien spielbar zu machen. Die Regeln für Die Schwarze Katze sind deutlicher weniger auf Simulation ausgerichtet als die Regeln für Das Schwarze Auge. Ziel ist es, das Spiel erzählerischer und vor allen Dingen viel flauschiger zu halten! Gewürfelt wird mit 2W20 auf nützliche Talente wie Friemeln und Umschmeicheln. Einige Regelelemente erinnern dabei an DSA5, kompatibel sind die beiden Systeme jedoch nicht. Bei Die Schwarze Katze handelt es sich um ein eigenständiges System, das allein mit dem DSK-Regelwerk gespielt werden kann. Es werden keine DSA Produkte für den Genuss des Katzendaseins benötigt. Das heißt auch, dass Die Schwarze Katze KEINE kanonische Erweiterung zum Schwarzen Auge ist, sondern ein eigenständiges Spiel vor dem selben Hintergrund.
The Black Cat is a new system of rules created to make the peculiarities, abilities and experiences of conscious cats playable in Aventuria. The rules for The Black Cat are more clearly less simulation oriented than the rules for The Black Eye. The goal is to make the game more narrative and above all much more fluffy!
