A press-your-luck card game where players take on the role of a team of miners digging for diamonds.
Players take turns sending a number of their miners down into the mine to dig the diamond vein. Each strike of the pick could score the player diamonds, but also risks a cave-in that will injure the miners and leave the player with fewer hands for the next dig. This could even result in the player being carried back to the surface empty handed. The player with the most diamonds once the vein has been completely mined is the winner.
The vein consists of a mix of 1-3 diamonds, cave-ins that injure 1-3 miners, or empty strikes. The player draws cards until they choose to return to the surface with however many diamonds they've mined, or until all the miners they sent into the mine have been injured in cave-ins.
