"This is Dnieper River Line, a computer game that depicts a fictionalized engagement between Russian an German forces in the Southern Ukraine using as a historical basis the Soviet thrust over the Dnieper River in late 1943.The game challenges you, the German player, to repel Russian efforts to breach this critical defensive position. Soviet units, controlled by the computer, seek to overrun the thin German line and capture sufficient objectives to assure victory."
