DoDonPachi Resurrection, known in Japan as DoDonPachi DaiFukkatsu (怒首領蜂 大復活), is the fifth arcade game in Cave's DonPachi "bullet hell" shmup series. It was originally released in Japanese arcades on May 22nd 2008 before receiving a Version 1.5 upgrade on June 24th of that same year. The game received a worldwide mobile port for iOS and Android phones on August 26th 2010.
The first console port was a Japanese-only release for Xbox 360 on November 25th 2010. A European release by Rising Star Games followed on November 4th 2011, also for the Xbox 360. The game eventually made its way to Windows PCs via Steam on October 4th 2016 courtesy of Degica. The most recent port, for the Nintendo Switch, was published by Live Wire on the eShop on November 25th 2021. Limited Run Games produced a physical version for North America on September 2nd 2022 while SuperDeluxe Games did the same for the Japanese market on September 28th 2023.
