Dodonpachi Saidaioujou is the newest game in the DonPachi series. Intended to be a continuation of Dodonpachi Dai-Ou-Jou,
it is a five level manic shoot-em-up with a score system based on "chaining"- that is, playing the stages while being sure to not have more than about a second between enemy kills.
