Instructions
From highest to lowest the cards rank Dolphin, Manatee, Alligator, Armadillo, Killer Whale, Sea Turtle, Numbers 12 down to 1, Flamingo, Eagle, Pelican, with two cards of each rank comprising the playing deck. Players are dealt a hand of seven cards and play out the tricks. On your turn, you must go higher if possible. If two like cards are played in the same trick, the second one beats the first. The winner is simply the player who has the highest card in the last trick.
The instructions say to devise your own scoring method if desired. They also include rules for a couple of variants in the rummy family.
