You are once again poised to foil the plans of the evil mad scientist, Dr. Strange, who is once again bent on world domination. You have tracked the evil Doctor to his lair. You just have to make it through the 50 foyers of guards and robots to defeat the Doctor and his minions. But proceed with caution - the Doctor has filled each foyer with electrified barriers!
"Guards! After him!"
The guards are actually the least of your problems. After a quick punch (or even just bumping into them) they will go running willy nilly into an electric pole or wall - just be careful because an errant guard might run into a spot that obstructs your path to victory.
"Electrified robots - attack!"
As you proceed deeper into the lair, you will encounter the most devious creation yet devised by Dr. Strange - his electrified robots. While they are deadly if you run into them, they are not always as dangerous as they sound. Having originated as prototype robot vacuums, their programming is somewhat predictable and bumbling. Your key to making it through all fifty foyers is to master the Electrified Robot Tao.
"Try as you might, secret agent man, you cannot defeat me."
Stalk the guards, evade the robots, complete the foyers, and DEFEAT DR. STRANGE once and for all.

A BASIC language action-oriented TRS-80 game with light puzzle elements. Although inspired by the core gameplay of a 1983 "edutainment" game, Wunder, Dr. Strange & the Electrified Robot Tao is brand new for 2022. As a BASIC game, it can be typed into a physical TRS-80, or the program file (ERT/BAS) can be directly loaded into a TRS-80 emulator.
A note regarding Dr. Strange: Beyond sharing a common name, there is no relation between this game's titular character and the Marvel sorcerer character.
